Congratulations on staying off for a year. If you feel the need to use, go to a narcotic anonymous meeting. You need support from people who are going through what you are. Adderall can be a serious drug because it is used to treat ADHD and helps calm these people. If used for non ADHD sufferers, it is like an upper and could be dangerous. You probably already know this, but there are many side effects to this drug even when used for what it was meant to be used for. I am not going to lecture you because it seems you are looking for help before you use again. You have done so well so please look for a group meeting or at least call AA or NA and talk to someone. You don't want to ruin the sobriety from this drug that you have had for a year now. Like I mentioned, the side effects are bad and could kill you if misused. Good luck.

You will have this problem all your life. Once you like something and this is from the pleasure center you cant go back and say you dont like it and be truthfull. I deal with heroin addicts and have learned this. A person who stops something he likes because it is causing harm is smart. If you are aware of this pull due to the inner pleasure satisfactional hormonal effects on your brain and do not realize that this too can cause you trouble and you have no self desire to avoid this you are in dire trouble and need to get to some help.
Otherwise get over it and pull yourself together and do not let this destroy the things you love most, yourself, your family and your friends. If you are letting it do this you are still behaving immaturely and not facing life as a grown adult or responsible person in control of your own life.
I am no one to talk or preach. But I do speak from self experience.
So go ahead and enjoy your drugs but remember... it is like the responsibility of driving a car... irresponsibility costs lives.
