something she can keep in her drawer or under the pillow. jewelry is too much for a 14 yr old. get a picture frame or a medallion that keeps a picture of you together. you can actually bring her to Build-a-Bear, she can choose the stuff animal she likes. get her something to remember you by.

Well, my boyfriend lives about 3 hours away and to give him something special for little cost... I bought a puzzle ($3), some puzzle glue ($2) and a frame (well, I had the frame made which was most of the cost, but still not bad $50)...
It was great and something different...

How about a top up mobile phone voucher (If she has a mobile) So that she can call you when you're apart :0)
If she doesn't have a phone, maybe a voucher from Claire's jewellery shop they do cool stuff in there!

ifs shes a girly gurl get her something like a cute braclete or necalace if u want a ring ...if u wanted you could get her a gift card to her favorite store that way it wud make things way easer for u

I'm around that age and what i would want my boyfriend(if i had one) to bring me would be a nice silver necklace that has a heart on it. And then I would want him to say something corny like: I give you my heart. lol, i know, i'm an old time romantic!
