I would love to see The Beverley Hillbillies back on our TV screens.
It was such a fantastic comedy series which would guarantee a really good laugh in every episode.
It was a series full of brilliant characters played by excellent actors and actresses.
It was an innocent comedy series where there was never any bad language, or sexual innuendos which is what we tend to get on our TVs these days.
I think it would stand up today and still get a massive audience if it was repeated.
Am I living in the past?
Probably, but I used to enjoy watching it very much and I doubt if we'll ever see such a brilliantly written and well acted programme again.

Call me sad,( I've been called worse)....but i wouldn't mind seeing Brookside brought back onto TV..
Not the last crappy episode but the original ones,,,if you know what i mean.
Brookside was a great program when it started but lost the plot when the writer, Phil Redmond, left and the bloke who played Jimmy Corkhill took over.
Sad days really.
And for anyone that's interested, Brookside close is still there in Liverpool, the houses are real and are at present being renovated...it's all smaller than it looks on the tele though.

Dixon of Dock Green.
SO unlike the police TV series today. Everything was right in the end and people felt safe. It's just nostalgia, because the world will never be like that again.
And I also loved Crackerjack, but which young person would watch that nowadays?

I'd like to see TV LAND bring Dark Shadows back, the original that is. There were earlier episodes I didn't catch on the SCI FI Channel!

All of them. I`d gladly watch a 12 " screen in black and white than have to suffer some of the crap that is broadcast in the name of entertainment these days, and before anyone says I can always switch off, I usally do and have a good read.

In terms of gameshows, they should do The Generation Game with Paul O'Grady hosting. In terms of other shows; I wish they would bring back Quantum Leap. I used to love that show!
