“The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal.”

To be honest, the places where I find the most joy is being with my best friend, who happens to be my girlfriend. who is basically the female model of me.
also, the most joy i have found to be most satisfying happens in one of two ways, one which is the most obvious is to learn about God through scripture, the joy happens when I realize the message of the readings. second source of joy is in helping someone who needs help. ie, the lost child looking for their parent, the homeless person who asks for a coin and I have a five dollar bill I can part from without a second thought, the friend that is moving, but only has a miata to move with. (i have a truck) basically the most joy that is satisfying for me is in the simplest of form. being with loved ones doing whatever, or helping my fellow brothers and sisters in need. and of course trying my best to be closest to God.

Well on a daily basis I maintain my joy by doing regular things like spending time with family, watching funny TV programmes but when I am going through depressing times, prayer helps a lot.

I admire my beautiful little boys. You can learn a lot from those little ones. Their joy is infectious, they can have fun and find joy in anything. My boys find joy in a pile of dirt- for Pete's sake.
Be THANKFUL for all of your blessings whether counted or even yet known to you. God has a plan for each and every one of us. Trust in him and enjoy the ride!
May you be filled with PEACE and JOY!

You don't find it, you just stop interfering with it and let it shine through into the world. Stop thinking and accept this perfect moment here and now; no matter what form it takes. Joy is always right here emanating from the center of your being.

True "Joy" is a Spiritual Force that Comes Out of your Spirit---if you put Enough "Word of GOD" into your Spirit, Daily.
Proverbs 4: 23
Keep (put the Word into it) your Heart (Spirit) with all Diligence (Daily), for out of it are the Issues of Life!
(one of those Issues is JOY)

by doing the things that you are in accordance with. do not follow what others do. ask yourself what you want to do. if someone ask you what you did lastly and you do not find anything cool that you did, do not feel "uncool".
Sometime you do nothing but you feel joy.
