Yes, all the time. Although I must qualify my answer, I wear shoes into church because the rocks in the parking lot hurt my feet, but they usually come off as soon as I'm inside.

Yes, while I don't attend regularly (I'm wiccan) I have been to some Unitarian services and since I'm always barefoot, I've been barefoot for church too. This is actually the very last place I'd ever wear footwear; barefooting everywhere has a spiritual value for me, to step softly and gently on Mother Earth, even if there's asphalt or other manmade surfaces in between, it's still a way of being more in touch with my surroundings, with being more aware of everything and all... in a church, any old building like a medieval castle, at a cemetery? Those places would feel horribly, horribly wrong if I were wearing footwear. I don't mind when others wear footwear in sacred or ancient places but I did once at a funeral several years ago (the family didn't know me and my barefoot ways that well) and it felt as if I was cursing at every step.

Yes, when I was a child & I'm frequently barefoot IN church now. I'm a country girl; I don't like to dress up & I don't like to wear shoes.

No, but my 8 year old son says God is barefoot, and in a vision I once saw Jesus and my mother, and they were both barefoot. So maybe I will. Actually, doesn't it say somewhere in the bible that shoes are of the devil? I think it is in Mark somewhere.

Several times... As a teenager my parents required me to attend.. I agreed giving them an oppurtunity to put stipulations on my attendance.. Nothing was said regarding clothing I was required to wear so often I would go in barefeet or my PVC dress.. It was always a sensation when I wore the PVC dress :)

My parents should have known better they know I will find any loophole available..

Kind of; I take my shoes off sometimes, and I don't have socks or stockings on. I've also breastfed my children when they were babies in church, and saw a couple of other women do it too. One didn't even cover herself while she fed her daughter! That was too much for me, so I left her alone.

I don't even go barefoot to the pool. I wait until I'm by the water and then, and only then, do I unveil my dreaded lower digits.
