I wouldn't recommend giving a kitten a bath. Their skin is so sensitive that the soap would just try out her skin!! Her natural oils help protect her as well... What you can do though, is take a diaper wipe (you can get special ones for kittens if you don't have some handy) and "pet" her with it when you feel she needs to be clean. Cats have sensitive skin. My vet doesn't even want me to bath my adult cats.

if she stinks.. it is likely a medical problem, because cats do NOT normally have body odor like a dog. Ask a vet!

if she really needs a bath, I'd wait at least until 10 weeks old.. be careful she doesn't chill..

and you will NOT need to give her one every dwo days. Trust me.. cats do NOT stink!! Indoor cats never need bathing, and their body never stinks (just their litterbox)

Digging your nose in a cats fur should be like digging your nose into a stuffed animal or pillow. THere should be no offensive smell..

You could be smelling her food on her. Just a couple more weeks and she can go to dry food, which you won't smell..

you should give it a bath just as often as you like getting scratched.
otherwize, she doesn't need a bath. she needs someone to love her and not think she is nasty in anyway.

if she has'kitten smells' from being so young, try a damp warm washcloth, well wrung-out to wipe her off with. you can put a tiny dab of scent (ie. cologne or tiny dabs of that shampoo you got.) on the washcloth and 'wash it to the scruff of the neck' .make sure she can't reach it, and that it is 'diluted ' and can't irritate her skin.
alternately- when she is dry, putting a bit (the tiniest bit) of baby powder on a dry cloth, then 'petting' her with it, will make her smell nicer. don't put it directly on ,anywhere she can reach to lick herself. you don't want to discourage her from cleaning herself, by making her taste bad.

or better yet, get your girlfriend some perfume that you think smells nice ,and ask her to hold the kitten a lot .

That's a little young for a bath but if you need to in case of fleas just use some baby shampoo. Its works pretty well. As for advice, just play with her as much as you can and give her lots of love.

cats are nocturnal, so yeah, she should sleep a lot during the day. A bath once a week should be fine (try not to get it in her face) If you start a kitten on baths early I think they get used to it better than an adult cat.

It would be good to give her a bath every week or even twice a week. I only recommend that you need to check her ears for ear mites. You can tell them from the ear becuz they leave a brown waxy substance. Other than that you need to only use kitten shampoo then as she grows change it to adult. ONLY WHEN SHE IS AN ADULT THOUGH.

just read the bottle. it will tell you how old your kitten has to be for you to use the product on her. i believe most products say 12 weeks old. remember to only use cat products on cats! if she is smelly, take a damp cloth to her-with no soap. it wont be too much longer and she'll be old enough for a bath.

You shouldn't bathe your kitten. You will remove her natural oils and she'll develop scaly skin (like dandruff). Your cat will keep herself clean.
