I want to learn to play guitar and was wanting to know a good acoustic guitar for me. I like music from bands like The scene aesthetic, Taking Back Sunday, Secondhand Serenade, and bands like that. Thats the kind of music I want to learn to play.

Go to your local music shop, preferably with a friend who plays. Find what's around at the price you want to pay and get your friend to paly for you. Choose the one that has the sound you like. hold it yourself and try to press down some strings to see how it feels. If no friend available, ask an assistant to demonstrate for you. Hope this helps.

It all depends on what you can afford. You certainly do not have to spend the money that would go for Martin, Gibson and Taylor. There are a plethora of very good guitars out there between 150 bucks and 500 bucks that will serve you well.

Right now I believe Taylor makes the best quality guitar out there. If that's more than what you want to spend, try Takamine. Huge difference though, try both & you'll see what I mean.

You'll have to go to a guitar store and decide what is most comfortable for you to play.

Martin, Taylors, and Gibsons are good. A bit pricey.

It all depends on your budget.
