You are getting exercise induced heartburn from stomach acid being pushed up into your esophagus, This is a well documented condition. It is made worse by a "hiatal hernia" which is a condition of the valve at the base of the esophagus which allows acid to creep up into the esophagus. You should not do heavy lifting or exercise for at least one hour after eating. Do not overload your stomach. Eating smaller meals rather than one large one also helps.
Antacids or acid reducers like Prilosec or Zantac also help.
