The Ali-Frazier match-up. At first glance, it would appear to be a mismatch what with Frazier being 4 inches shorter and about 10 pounds lighter than Ali. But here you have a big and fast masterboxer with average power against a smaller plodding slugger with a sledgehammer of a left hook. Ali usually danced around his opponents while peppering them with his piston-like jab. Then when they got tired, he would finish 'em off with those rapid-fire combinations. But Joe Frazier never got tired. He just kept on coming to Ali, bobbing and weaving under the bigger guy's punches then unleashing his own solid body shots and hooks to the head. And Frazier knew how to cut the ring on Ali so he couldn't quite run away from Frazier despite his quickness and speed. As the other great Joe once said: "You can run but you can't hide." By the middle rounds, it was Ali who was tiring, but then you don't count out a man with a big heart. Ali would always summon his last ounce of strength to beat Joe, as what had happened in the 2nd and 3rd fight. No wonder these guys fought 3 times, because it was a very exciting match-up that did always live up to its billing.

well 2 brawlers would obviously make a good fight. a boxer and brawler would make a interesting fight, where 2 boxers would probally be boring cuz either will engage.
