I like this guy but he dated my best friend he really liked her but she broke up with him not because of me but she really didn't like him he was just a rebound to get over her previous boyfriend now she moved on and goes with another dude she fell in love with but the guy I like still has feelings for my best friend but my best friend would never get back with him I didn't say there wasn't a chance between him and I but do you think i could get a chance?

OOhh, touchy subject. I think there could be a possible chance but you definately need to wait it out. It is too early for your friend and for him. The best thing you can do is just be there for your friend while at the same time being there for him. Lay the ground work now for something to happen in the FUTURE!! Let him know that you care about him and that you want to be there for him in any way you can, in a non-sexual way. The moment you have sex with him is the moment you become just another girl. He needs emotional support right now and that is all you should offer him. Maybe things will work out for a future in the future!

Maybe there is a chance with you some time in the future...but right now he still is not over her. You need to give him time to get over her...if he even can.

Never date a man or woman that's been with a friend...that is a unspoken rule of friend law. A friend will tell you they don't care but deep inside it will bug the hell out of them and force them to have ill feelings toward you and then you will end up with no friend and no man..
