I need a loan for $2000 and would like to use prosper or a people to people lending site but my credit score is too low. I believe there is an error and it is being disputed but for the time being im in a pinch because I need this loan soon. Is there anywhere I can turn, any suggestions?

Try your local credit union...you will most likely need an account there. My credit isn't too great and I was able to get a $2000 at the beginning of the summer.

I would not try to get a loan on Yahoo Answers. You have no idea who is out there waiting to scam you.

If you need a loan but your credit is messed up due to a mistake then your best bet is to wait until the mistake is fixed. If you cannot wait that long to get a $2000 loan then that does not make your financial situation look too well. That is the kind of thing that turns creditors off.

Well, there's always those Cash Advance places, but those can get you in over your head in a hurry. Do you REALLY need $2000 that badly? Can't you save up for a few months and cut down on expenses so that you'll have the cash?

Ask a family member or do a cash advance.

Just try not to get in over your head. And be advised that sometimes there are interest rates.

Hope this helps!

A savings and Loan bank is the best place for this.
