call your insurance company and tell them how you got hit, give them the other guys insurance info. a claims agent will contact you and then the other guy for both sides of the story, decide whos at fault and then do a repair estimate for your vehicle. If the police report shows him at fault or the claims agent finds him at fault then they will offer you to go to a certain repair facility to have your car fixed, or a check for the repair amount so you can bring it to any place you want or repair it yourself. You will NOT have to pay anything at all if you are not at fault!

If the car hit you from behind, they are at fault for not keeping enough distance from you.

If you want a quick fix:
Your full cover policy will pay for the repairs less your uninsured/underinsured deductible (usually $250) or comprehensive deductible (usually $500). You can send your car to be repaired and have it back in a week or so and pay the deductible. Once insurance companies exchange monies, you will get your deductible back.
If you don't want to pay any money.
Wait for the other driver's insurance company to fix your car, if the other driver was at fault and it is a reputable insurance company, they will contact you to do an estimate and fix your car or just write you a check for the damage depending on company. If they are not a reputable company, be ready to be calling them about your claim, and maybe even getting an attorney.

Call the insurance company for the car that hit you and file a claim under their liability coverage. There is no deductible when you file a liability claim.

or

Call your insurance company and file a collision claim. They will handle your damage (less your deductible) and then go back against the other person's insurance to be paid back. Once they get paid - then they forward the deductible back to you.

Since you have full coverage, as a courtesy to you your insurance will get things started for you. You chose when you got your insurance to have a deductible, which you will have to pay for now.

In the mean time, your insurance will contact the other persons insurance and they will discuss things. Since he hit you in the back it's pretty clear it was his fault, and they will pay back the insurance for for money they put out on fixing your car. The chances are that person has a deductible to pay also, which they will collect from him and give to you once they have it.

Call their insurance company immediately. The other driver is at fault. Don't make the mistake I made. Their company will send you to their estimator and write you a check.

Your deductible depends on your record.
