I know it sounds crazy, but a guy I know who is very religious told me it was true and he read it in an up-dated Bible he owns. It kind of makes sense when you think about it, because some of Jesus's messages are similar to Native American beliefs.

I don't believe I've ever seen a Christian paradigm in any of early Native American spirituality or culture.

There is a god in everything - animals, rocks, trees, the sky. Not exactly Christian.

Respect the earth, preserve it for future generations - not exactly 'use the earth how you see fit'.

I could go on, but you need to summarize why you think that, otherwise I'd just be banging my head against a wall.

The guys, who wrote the bible had no clue, that beside the Mediterranean See and some Land around it, was anything else. The believed the earth was a flat circle, 2 thousand miles in diameter, the sky was a kind of tent with rails for the stars, moon and sun, where they drove up and down. Scientifically, this guys where numb and dumb to the bone. It took mankind 1500 years in the darkness imposed by Christianity, to get us back, where the Greeks had left of.

Now we have to wait for the Arabs to go through 1500 years of their darkness, until they find out, the earth is round.

Of course he did... do you think God and Jesus would ignore God's children in the Americas? The Bible and Book of Mormon have not been recently updated. This guy misunderstood.

If the Bible was the end-all answer, don't you think North America would have been mentioned in it? Don't you think cars and trains and plains and AIDS and all other modern things would have been referenced?

The Bible was written by primates. And if it was inspired by a God, it would have a lot more answers for modern problems.

Anyway, believe what you want to believe. You'll find a Bible that will support your thoughts.

Yes it is true.

Not an updated bible. It's called the book of mormon and it is a record of his visit.

Additional Scripture just like the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Either he was talking about the Book of Mormon, or the time he dropped by Ft Lauderdale for Spring Break. I think that was 1994.

It is true. Ask that guy you know for the book he read. I believe it is called the book of Mormon. It is called that because the last person to record in the book was named Mormon. This book is another testament of Jesus Christ. This website will give you more information...

No. North America had not yet been discovered. Therefore, he couldn't have known about it and could not have travelled here. Your friend is mistaken.
