Well I'm a muslim girl and sometimes I just feel so suffocated. All the rules in Islam sometimes really make me think that even breathing might be sin. Will I get punished by allah for thinking that way? I'm 14 and whenever I satrt complaining abt how some of the other muslim girls in our area can't even show their hair she goes out of her way preaching about how my opinions are sinful.

There is only one sure path to heaven - and it is not death by jihad;

I know this, because I was once a son of hell, but now have peace with God.

Sorry sister we can't judge.... Almighty Allah knows Well..

If you born in a Muslim family but don't follow or practice the commandment of Almighty Allah (SWT) given in Quran like

5 time Prayer in a day,
Zakat(Give charity of 2.5% of your wealth if you have at least 85gm gold or equal in every Lunar year),
Fasting in Ramadan, etc

than you are not real Muslim....
First you should make your believe in Almighty Allah strong... and obey His commandment... than you will not have any problem to follow any rules of Islam...

The reason why Hijab is prescribed for women is mentioned in the Qur’an in the following verses of Surah Al-Ahzab:

“O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad); that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
[Al-Qur’an 33:59]

The Qur’an says that Hijab has been prescribed for the women so that they are recognized as modest women and this will also prevent them from being molested.

Suppose two sisters who are twins, and who are equally beautiful, walk down the street. One of them is attired in the Islamic hijab i.e. the complete body is covered, except for the face and the hands up to the wrists. The other sister is wearing western clothes, a mini skirt or shorts. Just around the corner there is a hooligan or ruffian who is waiting for a catch, to tease a girl. Whom will he tease? The girl wearing the Islamic Hijab or the girl wearing the skirt or the mini?
Naturally he will tease the girl wearing the skirt or the mini. Such dresses are an indirect invitation to the opposite sex for teasing and molestation. The Qur’an rightly says that hijab prevents women from being molested.

my sister!
yes, you are commiting a sin. i am sorry , but i will not sugar quote my answer. Please understand Islam is not at all suffocating, it is the most practical and human friendly religion
in the world. It is closest to human nature. Islam has restrictions with logic. These restrictions are imposed by no body else but ALLAH, THE ALMIGHTY. I am a muslim girl and quite older to you. i have been through your age, trust me, what you are feeling is nothing but a calling of your age and glamour of this fake world. As a woman, i know the way men look at me today(I wear a burqa) as compared to when i was around your age, infact, even till much later than that as i was heavily into wearing western clothes. Mind you, i am a sunni muslim and belong to a conservative family, but i was not religiously inclined till 4-5 years back. This whole crap of 'WOMEN'S LIBERATION' is a satanic weapon. ALLAH has given specific roles to both man and woman but that does not mean they are not capable of doing each other's work. It's just that, owing to the limitations of their respective nature, ALLAH has specialised their roles in the society. Just like, in an organisation or an office, all the tasks are not undertaken by one person. We have different people doing different tasks suiting their capabilities. Woman is basically a home maker. She has been created for man's comfort. That comfort can be as a wife, as a mother, as a daughter or as a sister. She is an attractive creation of ALLAH. Hence, ALLAH has asked her to be under wraps as this prevents her from being looked at as an object of desire. Men might pretend to be open minded but they have huge respect for women who cover themselves, whereas they look down upon girls who dress provocatively. Try this experiment yourself one day, go out wearing a burqa, observe the way men treat you and on some other day, go out wearing normal clothes, which you like to wear, again observe the attitude of men and compare the two results, you will yourself conclude that men were found looking at you in a different manner as opposed to when you were burqa clad. Sister, ALLAH has made every aspect of a girl very attractive. Ask men, they will tell you how they get attracted to a girl just by a good hairstyle, open hair specially if long, tringling sound of her bangles, a revealing dress, a good perfume, sound of her anklets..etc. The entire way in which she carries herself is so different that she attracts the masculinity of men. In short, men find it hard to resist a girl when they see her attractively dressed or when she is in close intimacy with him. That is why free intermingling of opposite sexes is not allowed in islam. ALLAH has high regards for a woman's modesty and shame and detests her being treated of a sex object. Hence,to create respect in the minds of men and to prevent a woman from attracting unneccessary attention, restrictions are imposed. Islam says, a woman's beauty is only for her husband. You are young now, but when you will grow a bit older, you will realise what i mean. So for now, stop complaining about rules in islam and just observe what is happening around you.

Well seen as all your other questions and answers are private we really have no way of knowing if your a Muslim or not. Assuming you are What "rules" are suffocating you specifically? There are plenty of Muslim girls who dont cover there hair if you dont want to who is forcing you? There is no compulsion in Islam you dont have to follow it do you? You are young and understanding many things comes with age. Maybe if you have nothing good to say about the faith your friends dont want to hear that as they may feel different to you, respect them and the faith they are following and maybe not complain to them but put your point of view over in a more constructive way. Insha Allah you find the answers you are looking for.

No, you will not go anywhere when you die, man created the gods, because religion is a lucrative business, to make sure that the followers, christians and muslims alike stay in their flock, they have created heaven and hell and a lot of rules, all for their own benefits. Being a muslim girl, I should think for your own safety, not to speak about your beliefs or disbeliefs to anyone not even to your closest friends.

Well it depends if you have more bad deeds or moore good deeds. The more you have of good deeds the better chance you'll get to go heaven, the more bad deeds you do, you'll probably go to hell. If you show 1 strand of hair, its like as if you got the sinn of being naked in front of a man that you don't know.

All I can say is use your brain and fight for your freedom. You will NOT go to hell.

edit: Hhmmm... thumbs down? I wonder why that is? What in my answer could have possibly provoked someone to disagree and thumb me down? Is the part where I told her to use the brain that she has that you condemn? Or do you condemn the use of freedom?

It means you don't know your rights that Islam gives you. Go educate yourself. I'm a Muslim too and I don't feel in the same way you do. And no, you won't go to hell just because you have questions on your mind. We say God is Allmerciful, right? He knows what's in your heart and that's all that counts.
Have a look at this website and see if Islam considers everything as sin or not (you said you feel like even breathing might be sin(?) ). So I strongly recommend you to visit this website and educate yourself.
