I actually drove a 1988 Aries K car as a taxi.It did surprisingly well and was just as good or better than an ltd or Chevy Caprice. It was very maneuverable and got great fuel mileage and lasted past 200,000 miles.

No, but when I was a kid, my mom's boyfriend had a 4-door Aries. It was pretty cool. It got us to Yosemite and back (8 total hours).
And believe it or not, they don't look so old nowadays, either. Definitely a good car for the time (though I don't think it will be getting remade anytime soon...)

I have owned both. They were my daughters cars. They were just basic transportation. Had some problems with them, but nothing major. AC lines leaking, map sensors.

LOL, I owned one of each, and they were both crap. Blew the head gaskets out of both of them. Granted I rolled one of the down a hill and had it flipped back upright, kicked the roof out some and drove it around like that for another year.
