I just got a laptop with windows vista and for everything I delete or uninstall it asks me for permission Something about being logged in with administrator settings try logging out and logging back in as the owner if that doesn't work try a system restore with the restore point being when you installed the program. If none of this works you might want to call the helpline.

I allso have Vista,go to start then control panel, then click on user accounts..when the page opens up you will see two places to click...be sure to click your account type as Adminastrator. Click ok and now you can delete anything you want to delete :)

If you don't have permission you are either not signed in as administrator with delete capability, or you haven't taken ownership of the file if you are.

try going to control panel. then go to add or remove hardware and if you know the name of the hard ware click twice. then something shoud come up to either install or to remove. if it says install you installl it and then iwhen its down you remove the same way as you see above
