My very own vegetable soup that I work on all day, so I stay in the kitchen alot and it's warm and good smelling in there. It's even better when I make homemade bread to go with it. And best of all when my grand daughters are here to share it. My g'daughter Morgan told me I was the best cook in the whole wide world. How good is that!!!!!

It's cold here in Ohio too. But I guess that is to be expected. I think a nice hot bowl of Vegitable soup(homemade) hits the spot. And of course it has to have smashed up crackers in it. lol

Try a nice homemade soup. Some root veggies like carrots celery swede onions, some garlic perhaps a tin of chopped tomatoes Put all together when all chopped up into a pan and cook until soft. Then perhaps add some herbs like parsley, thyme or basil. Try this recipe. I love it.

Any kind as long as it is home made, like:

Leek and potato.

Brussels and water chestnut.

Broccoli and Stilton.

Onion soup. All served with lovely crusty bread and real butter.

Anything as long as it's homemade. I had chili over the weekend, and there's a pot of broccoli cauliflower cheese soup in the fridge for tonight.
