They are about the size of small button mushrooms.

Haha, thanks loads, smart a**. I'm looking for any specific recipes. They are too small to grill, which is how I usually prepare my portobellos, but I don't want to mask their flavor by just mixing them in a stir fry or pizza, or frying them.

You can grill a steak and fix the mushrooms on the side in a red wine reduction.

You will need to slice the mushrooms (after you clean them of course) and saute them in some olive oil, a pat of butter, and some thyme. After they have sauteed awhile add some red wine to the pan and let the alcohol burn out of the pan. Add a cup or so of beef stock to the pan and reduce by half. When you are done just top the steaks with this mixture....YUM!! Oh, don't forget to use salt and pepper... :)

Unfortunatly, these people are just arrogant buffoons who think they are kings of the world even though they will never admit it and are not conciously aware of it, that's why they give stupid answers because they think it's "cool." How pathetic....
Anyway, you can find a delicious recipe for mushroom lasagna online! I only have one in a handmade book, well I DID, but I lost it! *sob*. But just type in mushroom lasgana on google and i'm sure something will come up.

Good Luck, and HAPPY EATING!

Slice 'em up. Saute in butter, and garlic. Dump in a jar of Classico roasted garlic alfredo sauce. When that heats up, dump in a handful of Parm/asiago/Romano cheese, and a good splash of half and half or cream. Toss with pasta, and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro, or parsley. And more cheese.

That's the way I always do it.

Oh - lucky you. In a small fry pan - gently heat a LITTLE olive oil and a knob of butter, add mushrooms.

Add black pepper.

They don't take much cooking - be gentle.

Serve with home made garlic bread and bring to my table as fast as you can.....!

Delicious..........enjoy........xxx

sautee them with butter and freshly grated garlic & lemon zest, juicing the lemon in the pan after zesting. Yummmm!

Don't wash them under water, but wipe them with a moist papertowel or dish towel. DONT salt them until they are almost done. They are delicious this way!
