WD 40 works well.... ehhh that hurt to say. Also if you feel like looking Phils Wood lube is some nasty stuff that works very well but a really rusty chain is the only thing i use it for.

To put a tire on its pretty easy. Wipe the rim down with a rag or something and just make sure that the rim strip is in the right place and that there are no spokes poking through. Then put the tire on halfway so you can still get the tube on. Next put a little air in the tube, just enough that it takes shape, so you don't pinch it. The put the valve stem in the hole and slide the tube onto the rim underneath the tire. Finally roll the other half of the tire onto the rim make sure that you don't pinch it all or your in for a loud surprise. after your sure double check to make sure that the tube is in place start to air it up slowly making sure its seating properly

p.s. if you use a screw driver at any point to assist you in this process you will be heading back to the shop to pick up a new tube

Rust removing is about the only thing that WD40 is good for. Spray down the chain with WD and let it soak a bit. Then wip it off with a rag. Next use a degreaser to remove the residue and lubricate the chain with a bicycle lubricant such as Tri-flow or comparable product.

Jay P got to say use WD40 without fear of being ridiculed by the mob!

Note that after a clean and lube if the chain is still stiff toss it and get a new one. And a tube is a tube is a tube. It's all the same on a bike.
