"Jesus," on the evidence of the gospels, was a typical Middle Eastern "holy man." Criss Angel: Shows you how to break out of a locked car trunk sinking into a lake.
Jesus: Loaves and fishes.
Criss Angel: Moves a coin underneath his skin with seemingly the force of his MIND.
I think Criss Angel definitely appeals most to the "hip" youngsters.

As far as in his THINKING, yes, Jesus was ahead of his time. He had a very egalitarian mindset and was hundreds of years before his time when it came to his treatment to women. For his time, the way he treated women was practically unheard of and even a bit looked down on (Think of Peter and Paul. They weren't crazy about Jesus' fair treatment of women).
I'm not sure what Criss Angel's thinking is. Did you perhaps mean their actions as far as miracles/illusions?

How is Criss Angel more clever than Jesus?
That makes no sense.
I've watched his shows they are amazing but, recorded nontheless.
Jesus didn't have a videocamera or speical effects or assistance for his PERSONAL work.

In my opinion, Jesus did and still does miracles. Chris Angel just does illusions with the help of television special effects.
