I was thin two years ago when i was 18 and began eating a lot because i was tired and unhappy with my body. My girlfriend bought me some weight gain shakes and i began to have a 6-7 meal plan everyday.

Fast forward to today I'm 5'9'' 352 pounds and i have been trying to lose just a few pounds because it is too much but i can't. I actually kind of like it. Why does that seem weird?

Psychology of eating is a complex thing where people eat or don't eat for a variety of reasons - control, loneliness, diversion from other problems, poor self-image.

Maybe you were the "scrawny" kid growing up and you always wanted to be bigger... which you are now.

Just be aware that being bigger by being fat is bad on your body. It increases your chance for blood pressure problems and diabetes.

Also, be mindful that being fat does not mean you are muscular. Although you may think you are.

It seems weird because it IS weird.

It's unhealthy to be that heavy. The burden you're placing on your heart alone will shorten your lifespan. See your doctor and get on a realistic diet.

Also, I strongly suggest you go to a licensed therapist. Your issues with happiness and now this weight gain can be properly addressed in that arena.
