I was talking this over with my honey and he doesn't think that we should neuter them because they aren't the ones that would be having the babies, but still I think we should because not only the pet population and how bad it is already out of control but also don't male cats spray their scent or whatever and they would do that in the house too?? Just need some back up! LOL!

Health and population control are the 2 best reasons to neuter male cats. But the practicality is perhaps even more important, if you're going to keep them inside.
CAT SPRAY REEKS!!! It's like ammonia mixed with skunk spray. The odor is next to impossible to completely remove, so the cats do it again and again in the same spots.
Think of smokers you know- how the smell is on their clothes and hair, in their car- around them all the time even when not smoking. This is just what cat urine is like. I knew someone who 'bred' cats- he was an irresponsible POS- but that's a different story- when he showed up at the pet store for food we used to flip to see who had to wait on him- we called him Cat Piss and that's what you smelled, the moment he walked in the door.

I'm not going to go into the other reasons for getting your kittens neutered since they have been already well covered by the other posters here but I'll add my own reason for having it done. Male cats are so much sweeter and less aggressive if they've been neutered.

Not only for the reasons that you mentioned should you get your male kittens spayed, but there are other reasons as well.
Toms can develop testicular cancer or get prostate disease as they get older, along with urinary tract infection.
Neutered toms usually tend to have longer lifespans than males who have not been neutered.
As the kittens get older, and their sexual organs mature, they may become more aggressive. Neutering helps to reduce aggressive behavior.
Toms, when neutered, will be less likely to want to get out of the house and roam, quite possibly finding a female (queen) and getting them pregnant.
Unaltered toms are more than likely to spray their surroundings to "mark" their territory.
Speaking of territory, if your two kittens don't get neutered, you can expect some very rough and tough fighting later on. Toms (or the male of any species for that matter) can be very territorial. One may try to kill the other in order to have the house to themselves.

Yes as you do not want to be responable for tiny kittens as there are too many around at this time of year, so my best bet would be to get both neutered and then everyone will be happy including the cats

Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES.
They're not the ones having the babies, but they're the ones MAKING the babies, which can be worse. While a female is limited to having one litter at a time, a male can impregnate many females at once.
One intact male can create even MORE kittens than one intact female.
Not to mention that yes, they will spray and mark their territory if you don't neuter them. Which means they will pee all over the place, and you likely won't be able to break them of it.
Get them neutered.

Absolutely get them fixed. I don't know if you've ever had a cat that sprays in your house, but it can be ungodly. Two cats would be worse. So, save your clothes, furniture, and everything else, plus its good for their health to do so, and the whole pet population help.

The best choice is to get them neutered. Some states require the registed owner to spay/neuter their pets by law. Besides, if you dont, your pets may develop bad habits with each other.

yes! you should definately get them neutered!! There is way too much over population with cats! Just think...what if one got outside and found a stray female...you may not know about it but there will still be a litter of kittens somewhere

Yes, it will help to keep them from spraying all over your house, it will make them not as likely to try and get out of your house, and if they get out they will not make babies with a neighbors cat.
