There are many paths. If you are paying attention, the world is full of symbols, which are messages from the universe to you. Pay attention to the things that pull your emotions. The path to enlightenment will find you.
You may want to read a bunch of philosophical or spiritual books and see what grabs you. One that I read recently was "Conversations with God" by Neale Walsch - maybe you'd like it too. It might sound like it's Christian, but it is actually new age and not Christian at all.
