As my mother said, I'm Buddist because she is, but I dont really practice Buddihsm much. Is it possible for me to change to Christianity later? If yes, how?

It's just a superstition. You can believe or not believe it any time you want. I'd argue that it isn't a choice, though.

Either you're convinced or you're not convinced. Outside of brainwashing techniques, you really can't decide to be convinced by something.

Not to discredit you or your family, but have never seen a Buddhist not only misspell their religion, but also calling Buddhism a religion is not a taught concept. It is more a thought process as stated by many practitioners in my area. With Buddhism not being viewed as a religion, there is no reason you you cannot choose a religion.

Just so you know to be prepared, you just opened the door for so many evangelists looking to convert people to start sending you all kinds of propaganda as to why this is more legit than that.

Your family cannot be the reason you believe this or that. Fortunately, me and both of my brothers practice nearly the same religion in Druidry/earth based neopaganism/Wicca.

Hope you find the answers you are looking for, but in my eyes, you can choose any form of worship you decide is right for you. Good luck

why? You talking about religion like its a social club. And what do you mean you don't practice Buddhism much?? What are the common Buddhist practices that you avoid?? And what common Christian practices are you going to take up?? Going to church on sundays?? Seriously, join a knitting club, or teach a class at the community college - it'd do you and those around you more good

EDIT: Gal From Yellow Flat - you crack me up. What a thing to say :"stop worshipping Buddha"Hahaha. Buddhists don't worship anything, their concept is inner peace and liberation from the burden of day-to-day life

Yes, you can change to Christianity. First, stop worshipping the Buddha. Believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and was God. Believe that He came to earth in human form and was killed as a sacrifice for the evil and wrong things you have done. Admit that you have done things that are against God. Ask Jesus to come into your life and to save you. Ask HIm to be with you and guide you. That's what it takes to become a Christian.

Find a Bible and read the Gospel of John, the book of Acts, and the letter to the Romans. If you are able, join with a fellowship of believers. Pray to God in the name of Jesus. If you want just talk to Him in your own words.

May God bless you and keep you.

Yes, but I don't know why you would want to. Bhuddism is more of a world view than a religion. I think I would much rather discuss life with a Bhuddist than a Christian anyday.

You can do what you wish when you're not living under your mother's roof, if you still are. You're not Buddhist "because she is"... one is Buddhist only if one believes in taking refuge in the Three Jewels, and various other criteria. May you find happiness and it's causes and freedom from suffering and it's causes.

This is a strange question. If you believe in Christianity, then you are already a Christian. It does not matter what you were born into. It's what you personally believe. You do not have to classify yourself in a group. It's all about your beliefs and your faith.

It's always possible to covert to another religion. You just go the church, and learn about the religion through whatever program they have available and then get baptized when you are ready to convert.
