I like to cook, but sometimes just don't have the time or energy. So, like any other bachelor, I slop together some lunch meat on 2 slices of bread and call it a meal. LOL My favorite is hard salami and wheat bread and I wash it down with either coffee, hot tea, water or a beer at the end of a long day. Sometimes I will make it fancy and have a carrot, or a radish, olives or whatever else I might have laying around.

That's my "quick fix".

Anyone else?

Ramen, or a sandwhich, usually. If I feel lazy enough, I'll go out to eat. There are several decent places within a 6 blk walk.

Edit

I've put on a LOT of weight since I got hooked up. I cook more full meals now instead of a quick snack and back to the computer.

When I'm in a hurry, I usually make a grilled cheese, or some buffalo chicken breast with cheese on wheat bread :P. I usually drink coffee, or flavored water. That's my quick day's [=.

OK, a lot of people will say this sounds gross, but I boil up whatever kind of pasta I have in the house, dump in a can of condensed tomato soup, some margarine and grated cheese and mix it all up. I guess this is kind of a poor man's spaghetti o's.

Anything I can use my can opener on and m/w oven. I have quit eating out --- long ago, since that type of fast "food" only causes me to feel bloated, and actually makes me feel ill,and very uncomfortable.
No thanks --- "They" can keep all their double-whammers / fries -- along with the burritos and re-fried beans.
Now a good pizza(home delivered) along with a couple beers , and a few friends over goes well for a enjoyable laid-back evening at home.
Hopefully -- they will bring "additional ammunition" with them , to add to the event-- they usually do.

Chicken Broth or Beef, accompanied by Finnish hard tack crackers, buttered.
Perhaps an apple as a fruit afterwards.

Cheese quesadillas: 2 tortillas, mozzarella cheese - microwave, then I add salsa. It's pretty good and only takes a couple minutes.
