A giant present. Wrap it in wrapping paper and put a red ribon cross on it and a giant bow. Then make up a label To ... and From ... and have some fun with the tag. To: All my students From: Their favourite teacher or something like that.

Wrap the entire door in white, with a big red ribbon.
Then get every ribbon for every cause you ever heard of - and put all those on door too [ with labels for each one ].
There are lots of them - and some colors have multiple causes.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what 'Red Ribbon' week is. Whatever it stands for, I think having a big red ribbon on the door sounds perfect.

When I worked in a nursing home, we would all take turns decorating our office doors for the holidays with various themes.
We would put gift wrapping on the entire length & width of the door & decorate it as: a Christmas Tree, a fireplace, a gift package, a picture album etc., & made them as colorful & pleasing to the eye as possible. We also used battery operated lights ,candy canes, tree ornaments etc. to further decorate our doors.
The residents loved to look at our creations & had a contest as to which one was their favorite.

look to the various 'support' ribbons out there.
support our troops is yellow
breast cancern is pink
etc.
why not make a "support our students" or "support our school" or "support the teacher" or "support your class" ribbon in the same style as the others with your red ribbon?
good luck and i hope you win first prize! cheers!
