purplex15- no, not ALL dogs are born with tails... some Australian Shepherds are born tail-less (I assisted in a whelping of Aussies and was amazed that only 3 of 8 were born with tails)... and I believe some OES also.

It's docked (cut off) between 1 and 3 days after birth just like a Cocker Spaniels.

Cockers are born with tails, Poodles are born with tails. So..a cocker poodle mix is also born with a tail
I dont understand either...not like it calls for it in a breed standard (cuz they dont have a standard)

no dog breed's tail is naturally cut off you have to take it to the vet to do that
