You are encountering a phenomenon commonly called "squishing without cause" but technically referred to in psych books as Poo-Foot-Syndrome. Although the name alludes to having some sort of fecal matter on the bottom of ones shoe, the actual presence of the poo is absent. It is your brain playing a little trick on you. It has convinced yourself that there actually IS poo on your shoe. And your brain, being as logical as it is, concludes that along with poopy shoes is a squishing sound while walking. So your ears (because of misguided brain waves) hear the squish of the poo that your brain has convinced you is on the bottom of your shoe.
Other symptoms include a fondness for the smell of poo, nausea and or vomiting, loose stools, erratic sniffing and nose scrunching, sudden loss of vision, and in extreme cases, death by asphyxiation.
Good luck Stooge, you are gonna need it.

I do it in hopes that it annoys my coworkers. Sometimes I actually do make a geniune squishing noise and it leads me to believe that I have a leak in one of my silicone butt implants. I feel this is it because it takes me forever to wipe.

Do not fret. It is merely an auditory hallucination. Change the channel until you find a more pleasing sound.
