Say I was speeding.. or cut off a school bus... could the driver of the bus call me in and report me for doing whatever it is i did? Or, are school bus drivers limited solely to reporting people guilty of "passing" a school bus?

Anyone can call the cops on you for poor driving, but unless a cop sees it himself, or other poor driving in his presence, not much will happen.

Not only the school bus driver but any other citizen can do likewise. However, if the school bus driver reports you, you could face a driver's license suspension if you're convicted because of the bus safety laws and the laws protecting children. Also, if children are on the bus, the laws elevating the crime within a certain distance of a school could be extended to the school bus because children are present and the bus is technically school property. The law isn't black and white. It's whatever will stick.

Any type of endangerment to the drivers child charges can be reported. If your actions require actions on his or her part, be sure you will be reported. Nothing in this world is more important than the children, and nothing you could be late for or running from can be considered a good reason to put a child in danger

Not only can a bus driver report you for anything illegal, but so can any other driver that sees you. Will it do any good? Yes, if they report it and they send an officer to your location who catches you. Otherwise, it's their word against yours, so you will probably never know about it.
