for the floors to look their best and for the greatest impact in this room you want to create contrast. My top choices would be creamy beige, pale creamy yellow or pale icy blues & greens.

--any of these would look great! I would stay away from any reds, browns, or purples.

You could really do anything. The mahogany wood acts as a neutral. I like "Impressive Ivory" by Sherwin Williams.

Depends on color of furniture, art work, etc and also how adventurous you are.
The safe answer is off white. For a warm feeling choose a color with a lttle yellow or orange in it.
To be adventourous, choose a bolder color.

try a light color like a tan or beige. something light to offset the dark floors...
