just don't be too enthusiastic about soy and everything will be fine

Some studies suggest yes. Soy, particularly in children and adolescents, has been shown to interfere with the production of sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen). A couple of studies have suggested that soy is actually bad for your cardiovascular system and can lead to some kinds of cancer. But, these aren't widely accepted theories yet. So, it's hard to tell. If you do an internet search, you'll find a few groups of people who have websites dedicated entirely to how terrible soy is for you. But, everyone's going to say that everything is bad, at some time or another. So, just read up on it and draw your own conclusions.

i've never heard of any...i always thought soy was good for you. especially if you're a woman.
