Ladies: Please translate?
Talked to a girl I met online for months and months and we get along great, talk about a lot of things, dig each other's interests, flirt, and even talk about going out, but then all of a sudden she stops taking your calls. I called her twice and all one time her brother answered and gave her the phone, I told her it was me and she was like making a deep breath like annoyed and hung up.

Then she did it again that second time so I stopped and moved on....but man, that REALLY upset me.

I have a hard enough time taking people at face value, I didn't say or do anything to upset her that I knew of?

Why be thrown under the bus?

This bothers me, so no lectures about being a grown up---I am thank you. I also happen to be a sentimental human. Since you want the bad boy, I guess that doesn't mean much anymore.....

BTW, if you want to become predictable and trite, side with her.

Ivny01, I was not being overbearing. Overbearing is calling her every day.
I wasn't doing that. And what trying to hard?

What does that mean?

Sounds like you did something wrong and didn't recognize it. I don't know that you'd get any closure, but if you want one last shot, send her an email that says you don't know what you did and are hurt by her sudden blow-off, ask her to tell you what you did wrong and that if you don't hear back from her, you're sorry it ended up this way when you really liked her. You may hear back from her, you may not. But you deserve more than immaturity in a relationship; best of luck in the future.

What she did was pretty crude. If she had a problem than she should have came to you with it. You were right to move on because she probably wasn't grown up enough to be in a real relationship anyways. At least you found out before you got more than you pride hurt. Take Care.

she may have felt you tried too hard- or were overbearing. but even if thats true- she sounds extremely immature- and I wouldnt want to date someone that makes someone feel that way.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: This advice is not intended to offend you, just pointing out a couple of theories as to why a woman would react this way. If these things are entirely untrue, then she has a mental disorder, and I don't believe you'd want to date her anyway. Again: THIS ADVICE IS NOT MEANT TO OFFEND YOU.

I have never been that kind of girl and don't understand why they do those kinds of things. I think that some girls just don't realize that guys have feelings too. They need to understand that girls aren't the only ones that can be hurt. It was a good thing that you moved on from her because if she treated you like that then she didn't deserve you.
