1791... proof..

(a) it is GIVEN that 1 is the thousands place. Multiplying the thousands place by 2 has no bearing on what the thousands place is. i.e. extraneous information in word problems.

(b) given that most of you answered 2794... if 2 is in the thousands place, 9 could not be the tens value since 9x2=18... therefore, thousands is 1, tens is 9.

(c) the last digit is 1 because a hand without a thumb is still one hand.

3 adult men walked into hotel. The receptionist tells them it is going to value them $30 for a room, so each and all of the guy quit $10. each and each guy GAVE $10 SO hotel gained $30. Later that night, the receptionist realizes he became into incorrect, and that the room could desire to have basically value $25, so he provides $5 to the bell guy to run as much as the room. on the way up their, the bell runner realises that the three adult men heavily isn't waiting to split the $5 the two, so he provides each and all of the three adult men $a million and makes a decision to maintain the the rest $2 for himself. each and each guy gained $a million SO hotel gained $30 -- $3 = $27 once you upload up this equation: each and all of the three adult men payed $10, then have been given $a million returned, consequently spending $9 each and each. 3x9=27 The bell guy took $2 for himself. 27+2=29. i'm so puzzled as to the place the different dollar went!!!! Any innovations, and if so is there a maths regulation concerning to this form of equation? MATH regulation IS $27 WITH hotel + $3 WITH adult men = $30 OR $25 + $3 + $2 = $30.
