Hi, i have a pregnant chihuahua and she is on her 62nd days she is shaking and her temperature is 98.1 but no sign of pacing, digging, panting, or whining. But she is looking straight at me shaking, what do you think is going on? Please no rude answers and i will be spaying her once the pups are born.

She is getting ready to whelp. Make sure that you have a whelping box for her set up in a place that she feels safe and secure. You can offer her some water and food, but she most likely will not take it. If you do not have any Nutri-cal on hand, I would run out and buy some right away. She can become hypogycemic during labor, and you need to make sure that her sugar does not drop too low. You should have it on hand for pups anyway after they are born. She most likely will not take care of the pups until she is done whelping them. Make sure that you have a box to keep the pups in that you can keep warmer, not hot, but warmer. If you use a heating pad with the pups, do not turn it on high. Put a few towels over it and put in on medium at first and turn it down to low. Make sure that you have something on hand to tie off umbilical cords as well if needed. You can just use some thread for this. There is no need to tie them off if the ***** chews them through and they are not bleeding. Put her in a quiet place to whelp, have the vets phone number handy for any problems.

Sounds like she's getting ready to whelp. Tha't pretty much what Lola did when she had her litter. The dogs don't read the book, so they don't always show the same signs.

Notify your vet (just in case) and if there's no signs of puppies within 24 hours take her in to be checked out.

Sounds like she is pretty close to whelping her litter. You have a whelping box set up for her, where she can go and be comfortable and out of the way of activity? Filled w/ blankets etc so that she can dig and get ready? Show her the whelping box and encourage her to be in there, stay there with her so that she feels like it's a good thing.

I have had a few dogs that don't do the nesting. once the temp goes down it can be 24-48 hours.
Just keep an eye on her. She should deliver shortly.
If you haven't it's best to call teh vet just incase of any complications.

You should have spayed her before the pups were conceived.
You bred her on purpose. Backyard breeder. UGH!!!!!!
