does this dream have any meaning at all?

my boyfriend turns 18 and decides to move out of his dads house. him and a friend of his become roommates in a house. my parents drive me over to help them move in. when i get there i want to see inside the house but it seems like my boyfriend is ashamed of it, so he didnt want to let me in. i got in anyways and saw that it was very decent in there and that he had nothing to be ashamed about.

Your mind was addressing an issue that perhaps is doing some back-burner thinking while you are with him. Little clues he gives here and there tell you he has unrealized expectations, perhaps unrealistic expectations. You are on a pedestal, you deserve better, you expect, or perhaps should expect only the very best. You are, in your perception of his feelings, supposed to be the princess and he is supposed to be, as you are assessing, your 'knight in shining armor'.

Sit down with him, talk about what you both wish the future might be like together. Then talk about what you both think the future will REALLY be like. Start the talk, but let him flesh out the details--and insist on details if he doesn't. Then your mind will be at rest in one sense or the other. Either he will voice the unreasonable expectations or you will set aside your worry that he holds them. Either way, have fun.

I believe that this dream is an issue of trust. You feel like he had something to hide, another girl perhaps. You may feel that, if he's moved out, maybe he'll move on.
