I got married on 7/21. It's been over 3 months now and I still haven't seen my proofs from my wedding photographer. I've called and gotten excuse after excuse (saying she had 21 weddings over the summer and was trying to get everything put together), and now I'm still waiting for them to be put on the internet, which she told me on Sept 10 would be less than a week. I still haven't seen them! Any ideas on how to handle this? She now isn't returning my phone calls. She was paid in full up front! I don't know how to demand my wedding pictures without sounding unreasonable. Help!

The contract doesn't state a time frame, however, her website says that proofs will be available in a bound book within 4-6 weeks. She told me verbally that he proofs would be up on the website within 2 weeks of the wedding. When they werent, I contacted her 6 weeks after the wedding and she apologized and told me that they would be up in a week. That was Sept 10!

Did you have a contract with her stating when the pictures would be available to you?
If you did, I'd leave her a message and write a letter stating that you've contacted an attorney to have this matter resolved. Also contact the BBB and report her.
BTW none of this is unreasonable and I don't think there's much you could say and sound unreasonable. You paid for a service and product and she has not come through with her end of the deal!!

Wow- that's a long time.
My husband is a wedding photographer. He gets photos online within 2 weeks- and it take on average about a month and half to get the digital photo negatives, DVD slideshow and wedding album delivered. Sometimes the wedding album takes longer of the couple goes on a long honeymoon because the couples needs to be around to proof it.
Does this photographer have an email? You should document the dates and times you called her- but by emailing her requests for updates- you will be creating a trail of correspondence with her. This will be important in case you want to report her to the BBB. When you do report her to the BBB- they will also contact her- so that may put some pressure on her as well to deliver your photos.
How did you find this photographer? If it was referred you can contact the company- person- wedding site- craigslist- and explain how this person is not delivering your photos- will not return your calls- and how disappointed you are. Then ask for them to not refer/use her anymore. Nothing like bad feedback to get a vendor in action.
Good Luck. Not sure if this will make you feel better- but my friend who got married in New Orleans had to wait 6 months to see her photos.

That is way too long. You need to demand your money back or get some kind of discount. That **** is unacceptable. Excuses, excuses. Don't take an excuse for an answer. Get your **** or call the Better Business Bureau. Them pictures should have been online at least two weeks after your wedding. You paid in full so she don't give a **** about you right now. She' s spending your money, smiling, laughing, and giggling right now.

I'd contact her once a day until she says that she will have them for you. You would not be unreasonable for demanding your photos since your day was back in July. It is not October, near the end of October, and you should have the proofs by now.
Contact a lawyer, have them write her a lovely letter on their letterhead requesting they get the proofs to you within the week or else you will go to court.

I wish I could offer a solution, but I can offer sympathy. My pictures were put online in time (2 weeks) and my prints arrived on time (from their third party printer), but I have been waiting for my DVD for a long time too.
My wedding was August 11. My package includes the DVD with the rights to print from it. I let him know that I wanted only one copy of the DVD on August 26th. (additional copies would have cost extra). He told me up to 4 weeks to receive the DVD.
I contacted him 2 weeks ago. He apologized. Said he forgot. (at least he was honest) but that he had to take his dog to get cataract surgery, so he would make sure they went out that week. The following Monday, I checked in. He said almost done, just has to label it and send it out. That was a week and a half ago.
I'd better go shoot him an email. I want my darn DVD so I can print them and make my photo album.

That is a long time. I got my proofs after 1 month of getting married. Like the posters said above, find your contract and see if it's written in there that you'll get all your proofs. Call and politely tell them that you will take legal action, or tell them you have already taken legal action to get your pictures back. Good Luck!

I would be very concerned if I were you. I got my proofs back three weeks after my wedding. I recieved my prints five weeks after that. If she continues to ignore your calls, take her to small claims court. I hope that you do get your photos. It would be terrible not to have any from your wedding day!

Survey is conducted to see which British males make love most in a night. Questioner asks man from Home Counties gets the reply twice. Asks man from Midlands gets the reply 3 times. Goes up North (where men are men) gets the reply 5 times. Goes to Scotland and gets the reply "once" The questioner says "Once!!!! even in the Home Counties it's twice. What does your wife say to you in the morning" "Get Off Me, I have to make breakfast" This will get me my 8,000th point thanks :)
