i have always been shy my whole life, esp, around girls. what r some ways to get more talkative or less shy around girls. im tired of talking to girls online. i want to meet some nice friendly girls in my town or at my college. but im too shy to talk to them. what should i do. what do i do about this. please help me.

JUST TALK TO THEM..... IT'S JUST LIKE TALKING TO GUYS EXCEPT THEY'RE NOT....THERE'S NO SECRET...... if u still can't come to it.... drink lots of alcohol and that will loosen u up....

Truthfully, the only way that you are going to get out of your shyness, is to just go up to people and have conversations. At first it'll be nerve wrecking but soon you'll find out that once you can just go up to people and have a random conversation without a problem; that talking to females will become relatively easy. Also try not to think so much about getting their phone number but just try to have an interesting conversation. I've learned over time that females generally tend to respond better when they think that you're not trying to pick them up but just a nice interesting person. So basically what I'm saying is you got to throw yourself into the fire if you want to be successful. Think about it this way.. Whats the worst think that can happen?... she says no.. so what.. there are soooo many more women out there that if you just keep plugging away at it you'll become more confident and comfortable that it soon becomes like clock work. Oh yeah! One more thing... CONFIDENCE is a MUST.

Swallow your shyness, take a breathmint and just smile and say hi. You may not be mr. smooth the first 100 times and will probably be rejected but don't give up. Overcoming your fears of talking to girls is your first step. Just think of them as guys and talk about the fires in california, ask if anyone has heard anything new on it. Or ask someone in class what the homework assignment was as you couldn't hear the teacher. Anything to break the ice. Smile and make lots of eye contact even if you want to throw up from nerves. Unless you are really strange or really ugly it is not that hard. But don't talk about gaming unless she is a gamer herself. NOOOOO!

haha. i don't really know how to answer this. i'm too young. wahaha..
well, i think you should try to gain more self-confidence. i was the shy type too before. try meeting other girls through your friends. i mean, be close to girls. they're a lot of fun. pretty interesting, i'd say. so, why not keep your friends close and meet others through them?
that's all i can say. gain more self-confidence; believe in yourself, and ask for help if you need it.

There aren't any nice friendly girls in collage, and if there don't talk to them to get over shyness . Talk to the cold heartless tough girls will if you find success with one of them your problems are all but over.

Attend assertive training course - just keep practising on overcoming your shyness.
Start with a nod and a smile - then progress to smile and a hello - after a while add a comment - great day - eventually progressing to will you share a coffee with me later.

I would try getting into a drama club where you are forced to say lines and be a character. Once you do that it is much easier to speak to anyone as yourself. I know this sounds weird but it works.

Imagine that they are your sister or a sibling... This usually helps relieve the tension. Or shove a Snickers bar in your mouth and mumble.

Find the loudest girl you can and make her your friend. She'll snap you out of it.
Then when you find your back bone, you can look for the right girl for you. And your new friend might even try to help you.

you just have to grow a set and go do it, it'll be real rough at first but after a while you'll just get conftrouble with it and you'll be spitin' game for' you know it. Practice makes perfect here.
