I have had a lot of friends recently who have met a man and w/in 3mths they're saying "l love you" and talking about marriage. I believe the best realtionships come from friendships first. If you met someone do you automatically know its the "one" that soon on? or can love grow on the couple? What's your opinion?

Everyone is different, so they'll develop feelings for others at different speeds. Some people feel instantaneous connections to other people, while others like to start out as friends and let their feelings develop through that way, and some people have no attraction to someone, but through talking to them and getting to know them, develop an attraction that way towards them.

I personally, think that relationships developed through friendships fair the best, and are usually the ones that will last.

It's different for every person and every couple. For me, I knew she was the one before we even started dating. Now we've been married eleven years. Whatever pace feels right to both people involved is the right pace. If either one feels things are going too fast, or too slow then something is not right. Either they have completely different senses of the right pace, or they're just not right for each other and haven't admitted it yet.

Talking about marriage within three months is not that alarming. If they're planning a wedding and announcing their engagement, that's a bit quick. But discussing it as an option is just the natural progression of a serious relationship.

i agree with you that friendship will lead to the best relationship cuz you'll know that person better. I think love grows on a couple when your around with that person. U cant never fall IN love or Out of love it just grows or outgrows unexpectedly...they shouldnt rush into marriage that quickly remember marriage is a big step in ones life

For some ppl they will know, or have the feelings that show how much they care and how much their into one another. An old co-worker i had, met her man and were engaged in like 6 months and are still together now, and it's been many years. Some ppl like to take it slow and really get to know each other b4 making the big step.

It would depend on the situation. I have been in a relationship where we started out as friends and gradually became more. The relationship I am in now, I knew he was something special. We dated for like 3 months and made us official about a month ago. We are taking it slow b/c something of substance often takes time.

You have to learn to live someone. It's not like the love your parents have for you for example, that's instant love. They had to learn to love each other and all of their faults and annoyances first. If you really want the relationship to have a better chance of lasting that is.

Feel me?

Sorry hun but my grandmother and grandfather eloped and stayed married thier entire lives...so I know that its possible. They would go grocery shopping together and were most times like peas in a pod...very cool. Even after he died, my grandma kept his picture next to her and kissed him goodnight (kissing photo) every night. She missed him so much after cancer took him. So I know that true love exists and it can happen very very quickly and last your entire life. Take Care-Rachel.
