From their dealings with world powers, which they are not supposed to be a part of, to their clergy men, men who are supposed to be men of godly devotion but decide that its ok to molest little children and then cover up for each other. It is easy to see that they don’t teach honest hearted people the truth but teach out of their own doctrines which are not based on Gods word the Bible.... I’m not trying to insult anybody, I’m just trying to see if anyone else feels the same way. It is even known that during World War II the pope then was backing Hitler and his Nazi regime. Now that is insulting to me!! I know that God and his son Jesus must look down on them for misleading their flock.... Please some let me know how you feel.

My family and I use to be Roman Catholics, but by the grace of God, we are no longer part of that religion. It is a cult religion that consists of man-made rituals and practices that are not biblical. They do not preach from the bible, but read from what is called "The Daily Missal", which is nothing but a false doctrine. The bible talks about false doctrines and religions and the RC religion is one of the many cults in the world that deceive people, leading people down the wrong path. Confession is also another man-made ritual instituted in that religion, which is also false. You confess your sins straight to God Himself - NOT another sinner, as those so-called 'priests' are sinners as is the pope. The pope is an antichrist because he puts himself on the same level as God, claiming to be a representative or ambassador sent to earth from God (or something along those lines). RCs worship Mary and the pope, both of which are sinners. Mary even called Christ her 'Savior'. If Mary was equal to Christ, then why would she need a Savior? Mary also died as a result from sin. Christ died on the cross for the sins of His people - didn't die the same way that sinful humans do. They also accept homosexuals in that religion as many priests are homos, which means they tolerate and accept immorality as well. God is against that as well and there are many verses in the bible where God says it is wickedness and sinful. It's an abomination to him. In short, the RC church is called 'the whore of Babylon' - the whole religion is pagan. One other thing: If you look up the history of that religion, you will find out that centuries ago, many christians were slain by the leaders of that church if they didn't convert to Romanism. So, I do agree with you 100%. They DON'T follow Christ's teachings at all - only their own.

No serious scholar contests the evidence that Pius XII took direct and indirect measures to save Jews from the Nazi death machine.

At the start of World War II, Pope Pius XII’s first encyclical was so anti-Hitler that the Royal Air Force and the French air force dropped 88,000 copies of it over Germany. Here is a link to the Summi Pontificatus: Encyclical of Pope Pius XII on the Unity of Human Society, October 20, 1939: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_xii/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xii_enc_20101939_summi-pontificatus_en.html

Unfortunately the Soviet Union and others had been trying to convince the world that the Catholic Church was pro-Nazi since the death of Pope Pius in 1958. Here are some sources:

See also "The Myth of Hitler’s Pope: How Pope Pius XII Rescued Jews From the Nazis" by Rabbi David G. Dalin which has compiled further overwhelming proof of Pope Pius XII"s friendship for the Jews beginning long before he became pope.

The Catholic Church is based off of lies, to often. It was created in 305/6 A.D. when 30 men got together and 29 of them decided to start a new church that would NOT do all Jesus and God told us too.
Like they dropped the Second Commandment and split the tenth into two, so they can say they have ten.
They spent over 1,600 years speaking only in Latin, so the people would not know what was being said and kept them scared that hell they would go to if they did not come to them. The only way one could find out what they were worshiping was to become a nun or priest.
Even today, when they speak in local language, they still tell their people not to read the Bible. That they will tell them anything they need to know. But leave very important parts out. And ALL of the Bible is important.
That is what started all the Protestant religions. The printing press was invented and people were able to get the Bible and read/realized that The Catholic Church was not obeying the Bible. New ones were made.
Over the past 2000 years there have been rapist in all religions, including church leaders. (I remember reading about a pastor in MA, back during the time that a lot of people were being burned at the stake as witches, that would be called to check a daughter, he would rape the daughter, then declare her a witch and have her killed.) So it is not only Catholic Priests.
The odds of a woman, in the U.S.A., being attacked is one of every two (1/2) these days.

I also wonder why some Muslim men don't practice the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad and respect women as shown in the Holy Quran.
About the Pope backing the Nazi Regime, I am not too sure about this; I know of Catholics who saved Jews from Hitler's wrath. I also know of Muslims who also backed Hitler and other Muslims who saved Jews from Hitler.
Not only the Catholics my friend; we are all guilty.

The Rock that Jesus was talking about was not Peter. The Rock was Jesus Himself. Jesus is the cornerstone of our foundation that the church was built on. The church (who is Jesus Christ) has the keys and He does the binding and unbinding. Jesus did not build His church on a mortal who is sinful and weak! That is like a man building his house on sand and the waves come and wash it away! Jesus Christ IS the Rock and on Him rests the church. As for the catholic church going into Apostasy it is true. God brought up mighty people like Martin Luther and John Calvin to bring the Bible to the people so they could read it and know the truth.

I love the old excuse `I am not trying to insult anybody but`` you have already insulted Catholics by your accusations,
First of all have a look at this link;
http://www.reformation.com/ then think about the words of Jesus`` Let him without sin cast the first stone`
Secondly the Pope (Pius XII) was between a rock and a hard place regarding Hitler and I do not recall many bigwig Protestants complaining much either about him.

Ghandi said that the problem with Christians is that they do not follow the teachings of Christ.

That being said, no one comes closer to the teachings of Christ than the Catholic Church:

Jesus changed Simon's name to "rock," Kepha in Aramaic, Petros in Greek, Peter in English. Catholics remember the fisherman Simon as Peter, just as Jesus renamed him.

Jesus said that He would build his Church on this Kepha (Peter), and Catholics believe Jesus.

Jesus said that unless we ate his flesh and drank his blood, that we would not have life within us. Catholics believe Jesus.

Jesus said his flesh was real food, and his blood real drink, and Catholics believe.

Jesus, at the Last Supper, commanded his disciples to "do this in rememberance of me," and the Catholic Church has obeyed that commandment for close to 2,000 years.

Jesus said that no man can separate a man and woman that God has brought together, and thus the Catholic Church does not recognize divorce.

Jesus honored his mother Mary. Catholics honor Mary.

Jesus said from the Cross, "Behold your mother." Catholics accept Mary as our spiritual Mother.

Jesus was married and chaste in his life on Earth; thus, catholic priests (who act in the person of Christ) are also unmarried.

Must I go on?

The purpose of the Catholic Church is to distract one from the true teachings of Jesus Christ.

I'm disappointed with this topic.

The Roman Catholic Church DOES follow Christ's teachings.

Don't judge something just because you've seen part. It's not like all clergy men go against the teachings. I mean, their acts are unacceptable. They are sure to be kicked out of their Order.

All I'm saying is, don't insult a religion.
Also, try looking it at a concerned Catholic's point of view.
This topic is very, very insulting.

May God guide us all.
