ok...so...
'the wages of sin is death' (Romans 6:23), but we all die anyway.

Note:I am not religious. i found the quotation by accident. i don't want to be persuaded of anything, and i'm not trying to insult Christianity. i was just wondering what people think. *share your views in harmony* haha

It's talking not only about physical death, but spiritual death and eternal separation from God. Had Adam and Eve not sinned, they would have lived forever on earth (however, earth would have been perfect, not as we know it today). But because of sin, God said "the wages of sin is death." Both spiritual and physical. That's why we needed a savior. Jesus came to earth to die for us so that we can live in eternity with God the Father. We do still have physical death and because of the corruptness in the world, that's a good thing. But as believers we can be assured by God's word that our physical death is only stepping into everlasting spiritual life.

We are spirits living in a body. When he tells us that the wages of sin is death he is speaking of the spiritual death. This is the condition of all men because of Adam, thus, to receive life we need to cover that sin and this is why Jesus came, to cover our sin with his sacrifice.
Yet, even the Christian body will die, but not his spirit because we receive God's Spirit into our own and that is what gives us life.

Remember 2 deaths for sinners-(1- bodily and 1- spiritually.)
1 Death to believers (1-bodily) Yet even in the end when Jesus returns even the bodily death will be changed for the Christian.

WELL, BECAUSE OF ADAM WE ARE ALL SINNERS EVEN BEFORE WERE BORN, SO WERE ALL DESERVING OF DEATH. HOWEVER GOD GAVE US A WAY OUT, JESUS, THE GREATER ADAM, SINCE HE DIED FOR US OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN AT DEATH SO WE WILL BE RESURECTED TO LIFE FOREVER ON A PARADISE EARTH (AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT.)

It refers to spiritual death and eternal separation from God's love. Physical death is inevitable and amounts to nothing. Spiritual death is eternal.

I think it means your sole will die. If you accept the Lord then your sole will live forever with him but if you don't then you will burn forever in hell.
