Hey,
I'm 20, a sophmore in college, and I work at a large engineering firm as a draftsmen. There is a very beautiful civil engineer that works down the hall from me that I would love to spend more time with. The problem is she's done with college (at least 24, I'm not really sure how old). I know I can't just ask her out at work so what do I say? We both like to ski and I normally go with my friends who are all 24 so I was going to invite her with us as soon as all the mountains open, will she go for that? I know she has guy trouble, and isn't with anyone right now, but is this pull even possible?

Sure it is. Don't under estimate yourself. She can only say no to you and that is no big deal. You will encounter many "NO's" in you life time so getting them early will only help build your character. Just be polite and respectful. If she says yes.. that is great and I am sure you guys will have a great time. If she says no, deal with it like a gentlemen.

Good luck.

If you guys are already friendly and you invite her, she might go as a friend. If it doesn't seem weird or come out of the blue.

If you don't really talk and you ask her to go skiing, she's probably not going to accept.
