I was in a relationship with a guy who was involved with drugs and not only did it ruin our relationship it ruined our friendship not to mention his life.
I loved him and he said he loved me, but, he choose the drugs over me. That's how it can ruin a relationship, they will choose the drugs over you.
He just recently found out that his decision was very stupid and sees that I was a very good person to have, but he abused my love and friendship and now I'm happy with someone else......

Drug abuse affects relationships negatively. The person using the drugs becomes totally and completely consumed by their drug of choice. Then they begin to lie to people they love, and even steal from them to get money for their habit.

If both people in a relationship are using drugs, they fight constantly because they become competitive and greedy. There are no positive aspects in this type of relationship.

drug abuse can totally screw up a relationship because the one who is using the drugs can do anything to get drugs if he or she can not afford them, including prostitution for a woman - giving th man a chance to get a disease, robbery - possibly putting one of the partners in the relationship in jail, and so on. If you are in a relationship, or thinking of one, with a drug abuser, you are looking at only problems in the future unless the other person gets help and gets off the drugs.
