No! The school will send her right back home. When a child has either a temperature or is vomiting, any school will send the child home. You will be putting your daughter at risk with possible infection and her classmates at risk for catching whatever she has. Give her some Tylenol and lots of liquids. If, it doesn't break by tomorrow or she has other more noticeable symptoms, then, call her doctor.

No, no, and no.
That's a fairly high fever, and would almost certainly indicate that her body is fighting a pathogen that could likely be transmitted to someone else. It would be irresponsible and inconsiderate to send her to school and risk all the other children catching her bug.
If the fever keeps up for too long, or rises above 103, you should get her to a doctor. 102 is quite a fever though - definitely no school!!

Fever is usually the 1st sign of an infection, I would not send her with a fever that high. She should stay home and try to get the temp down if no luck consult your physician. If she does have an infection she may be risking spreading it to the other kids at school.

I wouldn't think it's a good idea for her to attend school with a fever of 102. Whatever her body is fighting is probably contagious and wouldn't be fair to the other students to be around her. It would be a good idea for her to stay home and rest even though she says she feels fine.

OH ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! If she is that sick you need to take her to the Doctor's right away.
Wait, you said her back hurt?!!? That could be meningitis, that is a very serious disease. I have had it before and was hospitalized for 3 days.
Besides that 102 is WAAAAAAAAAY too high to go to school. Especially if your daughter is 10 or older.
Here's a link:

I hope she's ok tell her i said feel better.

She has or is fighting an infection. She should not go to school besides most schools have a 24 hr fever free policy. Take her to see Dr.

No. Wether she feels fine or not a 102 temp means that if she's carring a virus she can make other children sick.

Why on earth would "dad" send a sick child to school? Dad needs his head examined. Would he go to work with a 102º fever??? Probably not.
Umm..why are you staying with this guy if he has no common sense???
