I've been seeing this guy for about 5months now,he's a great funny guy but if we are eating out,he always touches food on my plate,i find this very rude,he thinks he's being romantic,i am also paranoid about germs etc,he also puts his hands all over the food and then puts in back,i find this repulsive,he knows i dont like it but i think its a habit he cant break,would this make you feel sick also?

Romantic? Are you serious? How on earth does he see touching your food as romantic.
Lets quantify this - you have say, burger. He picks it up, puts his hands all over it and then puts it back on your plate as a romantic gesture?
Whats his personal hygene like? Does he wash his hands?
Next time he tries, playfully STAB HIS HAND WITH A FORK.

Maybe he touches it because he knows you don't like it and is hoping you won't eat it. I know someone like that too. It is so rude and disrespectful.
Tell him: Do not confuse being romantic with having no manners.

That sounds like the weirdest thing I have heard! It would make me feel quite bad yes. Next time he tries to do it, jab him with your fork!

I would just tell him what you think. If you dont he will keep doing it and one day you will just explode on him.

You are going to have to tell him you do not like this, as this you find annoying.If he wont stop it then maybe you should think of separating.

yes i would find it annoying. i would have told him in a light-hearted way that i dont like it. Leave my food alone dammit!!!
