I am in a big trouble. i rarely talk with my freinds and let them do all the talking. If asked something, I reply in a line or two. Its like I feel my talk would be boring to them. I want to change. I want to be a major part of discussions. How can I get myself to talk more?

When a subject is brought up, instead giving and yeas or no, gives examples or tell a story. Friends love to hear stories that relate to them. Speak you my on what you have to say. Make jokes and just be yourself. Be confident and believe in what you are saying and just let it flow, don't plan the conversation because it doesn't go as plan.

discovery channel... thats all you need, but really keep up on the news, play a sport or something, try saying something funny when you think of it. But whatever you do remember, it's better to say too little than too much.

You need to be excited and or passionate about the subject, then I'm sure they will not be able to get you to shut up, but you will certainly have their full attention and interest.

Read things that are interesting to you to learn about it, read the paper, etc. Then talk about what you know.
