Ciao Bella, come stai?
Are you in Italy, now?
The best Italian brand is "Technogym", known in the whole world.
They have "excellent" products for gym, and very very good treadmills.
Search on Google the website.

It depends on the price that you are looking to spend. Many fitness center quality treadmills are upwards of $2000 or more and are very good.
I own a Proform (I think Proform 650) treadmill that I bought from Sears, it is an entry level treadmill that is around the $500-$600 price range. I have had good success with it so far and would recommend it.
Many places have multiple treadmills on display that are hooked up that you can test, I would recommend putting on your workout shoes and trying some of them out in the stores. I did this and could notice the difference.
Also, if money is a primary concern, It may be better to buy used from the classified ads than a really cheap budget model.

I have a treadmill. I purchased it at Sears. It is the Pro-Form XP 550. It has the incline, multiple speed, etc. You should ask the rep about the details and try it out before you buy. Remember that its not about the money, but more about what best suits you.

My best advice is to buy something cheap, to start. A good many people pay a lot of money and then wind up using it as clothing rack.
After you establish a habit of use, buy something that is within your budget. I like the one that has a place to put your laptop.
Peace.

I got my treadmill from Wal-mart! It was $300 and it is a Weslo something...You don't need something fancy and over expensive to get the job done.

can't help you dear, I've never had one. Go down to your local sporting goods store and just try some out. That's all I could suggest.
