I adapted my new kitty (4mo) from local shelter, and she came home with a small flu (i.e. sneezing, runny poop).

I took her to the vet and he gave her 2 shots (one for earmites and one for the flu) and gave me some medicine to feed her. The next thing I know kitty had stopped comsuming food.
I went back to the vet a week later, kitty weight dropped from 4.2lb to 3.17lb, and she even lost the energy to go to the litter box (i.e. started peeing/pooping are her bed) and whenever she walks her rear body falls on the floor every few steps.

She was still purring when I hug and pet her, but that stopped as well after I took her to the vet the 3rd time and had another shot for fever.

Now it's been 6 days since her 3rd visit, and she lost appetite completely (and I mean it as not eating/drinking at all, unless I feed her with syringe). The vet appointment is schedule for this Saturday, but I am not sure if she can keep up until that time...What should I do to make her eat?

I have tried giving her the following food (she only eats when I feed her with syringe)
Wiska's cat milk (liquid)
IAMS for kitten (can't feed this at all)
9 lives (the food she eats at the shelter)
Purina kitten chow
Purina regular (the one my older cat eats)
IAMS kitten canned food
NutriCal (vet prescribed, feeding twice a day)

When you adopted her and took her to her first check-up with the Vet did they screen her for feline leukemia and AIDS? If not they need to. There is really nothing you can do to make a kitten or cat eat if they refuse except through IV. At the bare minimum your kitty needs to be on IV fluid therapy like yesterday. You have some very bad signs and symptoms going on right now. Call the Vet and tell them your kitten has gotten much worse and needs to be seen immediately; if they can't fit you in then take the kitten to another Vet's office or an emergency clinic. The emergency clinic will cost you a fortune, so I would only use it in the case that it is after hours for normal Vet's offices. Bottom line get the kitten to ANY Vet ASAP. I wish you the best of lucky with your baby.

If she has no energy she could be dehydrated. Give her about 10mls of water in a syringe every 1-2 hours. Also, try to tempt her with other foods apart from the packaged cat foods. Try chicken breast and white fish. Also, tuna, salmon, pilchards, anything you can tempt her with. We had a very ill kitten, with very little energy, but she perked right up when we gave her tuna! Try putting a tiny amount on a plate every few hours. If she eats it, give her a bit more next time. Keep her warm as well, their temperature can drop dangerously low quite quickly. Also, if I were you i think I'd take her back to the vets a bit sooner if you can see her going downhill. Good luck!

u said that u got it from local shelter with a small flu. i think u should ask the person from whom u got the pet cat the detailed information that how was she born and was she given all the vaccines after her birth and keep on giving her food with glucose so that she shouldn't lose her energy .rest waiting for vet is not reliable try methods at home and check weather the vet had given those shots were in proper quantity or overdose?

Definetly keep feeding her through the syringe but if I were you I wouldn't wait til Saturday to get her to the vet. Call your vet and explain that the cat's condition is getting worse. Insist on being seen sooner or switch vets.

i think you should look for another vet. and search online there is this sickness that i cant get the name right now but if you search for those symptoms youll find it quick. She needs to stay hydrated! u cant make her eat, just put some pepto bismol for real a very small amount of it every 4 hours and give her in a syringe some sprite (not kidding) she also should have a serum to keep her hydrated and with some antibiotic... this happened to my kitten too. He made it but only after a big scare and following those instructions. give her lots of love. :D hope this helps... praying for ur kitty :)

Fat pets are at more risk of healthful problems and it is best you want to aid her drop pounds. Most vets do weight lose clinics which i might advcie you appear into . They may be able to aid with a riskless weight and recreation programme. That you may buy weight lose cat food like Iams. It's harder to get cats to undertaking that puppies but there are plenty of things you are able to do to motivate them . If they like taking part in with toys that just right for them despite the fact that she most effective palys for a few mnutes. Most cat loves cat nip nip toys and that appear to encourage them to get more energetic even for brief periods. If you'll discover some first-rate wild bird feathers which you could tie to a few string and play along with her with them they seem to love that. When it come to time for supper which you could take them upstairs after which they have to come right down to eat. Which you can buy bored smash toys that you would be able to put a few of their dinner in and so they have to work to get it out. I comprehend it doesn't sound like that's alot of undertaking but every little helps.

Call your vet and tell her/him what the kitten's symptoms are. If your vet doesn't see the kitten immediately, I would take her to another vet.

Just keep feeding her food and water, thats the only thing you can do. Use the syringe like you are and hang in there. Are you liquifying the food and putting it in the syringe?
