The most ridiculous thing about this is that keeping religion out of government is also good for christians. And yet some fight to not only keep the preferential treatment that christianity already receives but increase it.
Point to a single law that truly curtails religious freedom. The legal system in the US bends over backward to ensure religious freedom. Sadly what you're wanting is a theocracy and religious preference.
The danger in the precedent of giving a single religion so much power in the government is what if tomorrow it isn't your religion.
Imagine if say all of what you're demanding was given tomorrow to another religion.
A pledge of allegiance that forces children to swear to L. Ron Hubbard. That is what you're demanding.
The scientology notion of creation taught to your kids as science. That is what you're demanding.
Schools to require and teachers to lead your children in scientologist prayers. That is what you're demanding.
Religion deciding who can and can't marry. What if scientologists decide only those who follow scientologist doctrine can marry. That is what you're demanding.
Would you like me to go on.
Honestly I would enjoy if tomorrow we all woke up and all of the above came true I think it would be a good thing. Not because I have any love for scientology. They just one more religion from my standpoint. Non-christians would shrug and say "same crap different religion". But at least christians like you would see the danger in what they're fighting for.

Actually, this isn't happening anywhere in this country. Unless you think your religious freedoms include having the government preach for you, there are no restrictions an Christians.

This is a big assertion, I'd want to see some sort of proof of it. But then again, Christians seem to have no problem with restricting other peoples freedoms by enforcing their morality through laws.

NO, these laws restrict religious bigots who want to force their particular flavor of the religious misconception about God on others.

AT some point they will drag us off to concentration camps or burn us in the street. I agree will be forced underground at some point.
And to the Sceincetologist why drag down a good country with your cult. If you hate merica so much just leave none is keeping you here.
