It wouldn't be a bad idea to do dumbbell presses...I actually prefer using dumbbells. It targets the smaller muscles that you wouldn't hit with regular barbell presses, uses more of your stabilizer muscles, gives you a better range of motion, and is much more safer (drop the dumbbells if you can no longer lift).

Are you trying to gain muscle? If so, try to do around 8-10 for the 1st set then 6-8 for the next two while increasing the weight.

For my first set, I'll do 10 reps of 65lb dumbbells. 2nd set I will do 70lb for 8 reps. Next set I will do 6-8 reps with 75lb.

It's time to add more weight when you can do the whole thing (same sets and reps) in relatively the same amount of time with more weight, you'll just have to try and c. I've never seen this increase weight and decrease reps thing, does it work? Based on what I c your reps are very high if you're trying to look cut. You're building a lot of slow twitch and not much fast twitch. I would say you need a lot more weight overall, you should try a 3-5-10-max set, and you shouldn't be able to get more than 5 on your max, I think you are too light.

Bell press is great to build shape, you should do it at the end of your ches workout, but mix it up and substuite with incline and decline presses.

I would stick to dumbell presses. They work your stabilizer muscles, which need more work to help you lift more weight in the future. If you stick with a barbell, a lot of the stabilization slack is picked up by your latissimus dorsi.
The best growth gains start with perfect stability.
