As a Christian youth, it is hard to live in this world. The easiest way for me to "survive" in this world is to remember that one day I won't have to. One day I will be with my Jesus and this world will no longer exist, much less matter.
Until then I take comfort in knowing that He is ALWAYS with me. I recommend that you look these scriptures up. They are sooo helpful to me! Write them down, memorize them if you want! They're sweeter that sugar, more filling than the largest meal, and more comforting than a warm blanket on a cold day.

Psalm 121:1-8

You have to surround yourself with good! By that I mean a good family support system. Good friends etc... Stay active in your church & find something YOU can do to HELP other people! Personally I have chosen to be a foster parent. There's nothing more fulfilling - than helping & loving children. If you find a good cause of your own to keep you busy, It will keep you out of trouble & away from temptations that so many teens face. Good Luck it is possible!!

Don't have lots of nonchristian friends - make sure the people you spend most of your time with are Christians like you.

Read your Bible and pray every day - make sure you stay close to God.

And for heaven's sake, stay away from worldly stuff! Don't adopt the attitudes or practices or ideals of our society...it will only drag you down and carry you away from God.

Stay strong!

Seek and stay in the word, and surround yourself w/ Christian friends. When we follow what God tells us to do, He gives us joy(John 15 the vine). When we know we are following him, He gives us peace, joy, strength, and His Presence. There is absolutely nothing better than His Presence.

with the strength and wisdom of God. Dont worry about this world...Jesus has already overcome the world! Just keep your mind and your heart focused on Him and He will direct your paths. It is just the world we are living in, we are only here for a short time! Also, PRAYER does wonders!!

That's why it's so important for parents to be excellent role models for their children and bring them up in a Godly manner.

God's Word tell us "If you bring up children in the way they should go, they will not depart from it."

God bless!
